What are the eyelash extensions made of?

iLashBeauty is offering a unique line of 100% natural Siberian mink eyelashes! They are the crème de la crème of eyelash extension industry, 100% hypoallergenic and applied to your own lashes with an FDA-approved medical-grade adhesive. Eyelash extensions are available in various lengths, thickness, curls and colours for a unique beautiful look!

How should I take care of my eyelash extensions?

As Ms. Arych, the founder of iLashBeauty, always says: treat your eyelash extensions as an investment! It’s delicate work, which takes time and skill to apply; therefore, iLashBeauty recommends taking proper care of your eyelash extensions. Use only appropriate makeup removers, which are not oil-based; invest in proper eye cleansers; never use waterproof mascara on your eyelash extensions; don’t rub your eyes and don’t use steam room or sauna for 24 hours following the initial application of eyelash extensions. These simple rules will ensure the longevity of your eyelash extensions. After the first 24 hours, you may travel, swim, tan, use the steam room or sauna, exercise or cry from joy without any hesitation – your eyelash extensions are perfectly safe!

Is iLashBeauty a safe place to have eyelash extensions applied to my eyes?

All iLashBeauty products are 100% safe and hypoallergenic. iLashBeauty founder and primary eyelash extensions artist, Ms. Arych, is certified in Infection Control and Sterilization (hosted by the City of Toronto Department of Public Health). It is extremely rare for a client to develop a reaction to any of iLashBeauty products or treatments. However, in case of a concern, please contact iLashBeauty professionals immediately – we will be happy to provide our expertise at any hour!

I’ve had eyelash extensions applied elsewhere. Will iLashBeauty professionals work with my existing eyelash extensions?

iLashBeauty professionals will gladly contribute their knowledge and expertise to your ultimate satisfaction. However, it might be necessary to have the previous work removed, in order to ensure proper and safe application of iLashBeauty products.

I am getting married and planning to go on honeymoon right after the wedding. When should I have my eyelash extensions applied?

Congratulations! iLashBeauty is happy to offer special packages for the Brides and Bridal Parties, as well as for Proms, Vacations and other important events in your lives. Please contact us for a consultation and book your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to the event, if you are already familiar with eyelash extensions. If you are consider trying the eyelash extensions for the very first time, please consider booking your initial appointment 3-4 weeks prior to the event, and visiting us again for a touch-up a few days before your big day!

How long does it take to have eyelash extensions applied?

At iLashBeauty, Eyelash Extensions are individually applied in a lash-by-lash fashion, which can take anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours. Please review our Product List, which describes how many eyelashes are applied to each eye. Please be advised, that the more eyelash extensions are applied, the more time is necessary to facilitate the application and the proper procedure.

Why do I need to get refills?

The human hair has a life cycle, which means that our hair and our eyelashes tend to fall out at a certain rate. Usually, 2 to 4 eyelashes fall out each day within a life cycle of 2 to 3 months. iLashBeauty recommends monthly maintenance touch-ups in order to achieve the ultimate look of your eyelash extensions. If you choose to apply eyelash extensions for a specific occasion only, and do not continue with the touch-ups, the eyelash extensions will last approximately up to 2 months.

What can eyelash extensions do for me if my eyelid has bald spots, or is nearly bare?

Because proper application of iLashBeauty products involves placing a single eyelash extension to a single natural eyelash without touching the skin, your Certified Specialist cannot apply eyelash extensions where there are no eyelashes of your own. Please consult iLashBeauty professionals to discuss other products and techniques, which can best address your concerns.
